Service Department Group: 21 Clutch Lubrication of Clutch Splines December 1984 21 004 84 (2136) For USA and Canada Only We described in two (2) previous Service Informations [21 003 82 (2064)] and [21 003 83 (2074)] the importance of clutch spline lubrication. Test results where clutch splines are kept properly lubricated are extremely positive. Stiff shifting of the gearbox and stiffness of clutch operation can be directly attributed to dry or rusty clutch splines.
