We recommend that upon receipt of a new motorcycle, to check out this problem, and modify as follows: 1.) After you have determined where and by how much the alteration should take place, _remove the seat. 2.) Remove the pop rivets on the front nose section. 3.) With the help of a blunt instrument, separate the seat cover from the metal frame enough to reveal the nose or front of the seat frame section to be reworked. 4.) Remove the determined amount of metal. 5.) Round off all sharp edges; cover the edges with tape to protect the seat cover for re-installation. ~he foam rubber does not have to be cut or altered. 6.) The seat cover can now be re-glued to the metal frame by using an appropriate glue. 7.) Replace the pop rivets. 8.)
