RE: REAR DRIVE OIL LEAK
Dear Dealer:
Since the introduction in 1981 of the new design
rear drive housing, it has come to our attention
that an oil leak could occur on drum brake models
only from the area around the brake pivot shaft.
If a leak is noted, the following should be
investigated and/or replaced:
1. Install a new brake pivot shaft with four (4)
“O” ring grooves.
2.
3.
4.
Measure d;~th.,,of “O” โขring ยทgrooveยทs with.,~- caliper.
