Complete Rear Orive Assemblies for all Boxer
models from 1970 – 1980 are no longer available
from our factory. However, individual parts
for these models are available.
If a complete rear drive is needed, you must
order a Rear Ori ve Assemb1y which is used on
the 1981 – 1984 model Boxers (i.e., light alloy
casting).
The following modifications and parts will be
necessary:
Motorcycles with Rear Drum Brakes:
1 Brake Shoe 25mm wide
1 Brake Shoe 25mm wide
1 Brake Cam
4 “O” Rings
34 21 1 242 403
34 21 1 242 404
35 21 1 454 836
07 11 9 906 328
Motorcycles with Rear Disk Brakes:
Rear wheels with disk brakes manufactured prior
to 1981 have 12 lugs located in the hub. Before
mounting the wheel, it is necessary to machine
the lugs off.
When machining the lugs, be extremely careful
that the wall thickness of the hub is not thinner
than 4+0.Smm.
Also ensure that there are no sharp edges or
notches after machining.
