Service Department Group: 34 Brakes February 1990 34 021 90 (2395) For USA Only Rear Drum Brake Shoes – All Models from 1981 on!t except R80G/S A new part number for asbestos-free brake shoes has been introduced for all rear drum brake models from model year 1981 and onward, with the exception of the RBO G/S (1981 – 1986). This part number is a kit containing upper and lower brake shoes, 2 brake return springs, and a rubber absorber which can now be installed on the rear return spring in order to reduce the vibration of the spring which causes the squealing noise during braking.
