Re£: Automatic centrifugal advance
Dear Sirs,
It has repeatedly occurred that the M6 nut securing
the centrifugal advance unit is torn ott as a result of
over-tightening.
Since it is not immediately apparent that this nut is
cadmium-plated (M6 DIN 934-8 CD), a tightening torque of
0.6 – 0,7 mkp (4,3 – 5,l tt/lb) is specified,
Please observe this torque figure to obviate further
complaints.
