Re: R65 / R65LS Tires

Please be advised that a small number of 1981 R65’s will
arrive in the United States equipped with “S” rated tires,
instead of “H” rated tires, or as indicated in the Rider’s
Manual and brochures.
Please inspect each 1982 R65 carefully prior to delivery to
your customer and advise him if the motorcycle is equipped
with “Sn tires.
Due to extremely high air pressure that must be used to mount
the Michelin tire correctly, over the 4° upward sloping bead
seat taper in the rim design, the inner tube could be damaged,
and could fail after a short period of time.in operation.
All R65 LS models are being delivered with “Hu tires.
