When mount int:: a new tire, a new tube should be used as t:ell. It is recommended to use only tires and tubes of the same make. Important: In case Butyl tubes are used, a rim tape s~ould be attached in addition to the adhesive tape. Due to smaller diffusion losses, the air pressure is -more constant over a longer period in synthetic tubes than in natural rubber tubes, but they are more exposed to wear. If rims are centered or loose spokes tightened the tire ~ust be removed in any case. Adhesive tape and, if applicable, rim tape should be removed thus hlakine it possible to grind down protruding spoke ends. Repeated inquiries cause us to inform you that up to now no other tire makes meet the requirements with respect to driving safety and load. However, our Development Department in close cooperation with the remaining (foreign) tire manufacturers endeavour to release further makes.
