Ref.: Stop Light Switch for Foot Brake
Dear Sirs,
the stop light switch for the foot brake has got at the models
R 50/5 from chassis No. 2 900 689
R 60/5 from chassis No. 2 931 055 and
R 75/5 from chassis No. 2 971 013 on
an isolating plate of Pertinax between plastic housing and base plate.
By this, possible short circuits between the plus-contacts of the
switch and its base plate are avoided.
Please, equip also the motorcycles produced before the indicated (
chassis numbers with the new stop light s,,.li tches. The modification ..
has to be effected in the following way:
Pull off rubber protection cap fro □ housing and draw it back somewhat
on the cables, loosen both lines, screw off 2 cylindrical screws of
the stop light switch housing, take out old switch, order No.
61 31 8 048 165, and replace by new switch, order No. 61 31 1 353 684.
The necessary labour for this work is 2 FR-.
