RE: BMW Touring Pannier Cases Already Fitted to
BMW Motorcycles at the Factory
Dear Dealer:
Customers can now paint the BMW Touring Pannier Cases in
order to match their BMW motorcycle. Prior to this, the
reflector and the BMW emblem, which were already installed
with adhesive, had to be removed again to respray the
panniers.
To avoid any risk of damage, the emblem inserts will in
the future be retained by an adhesive tape only on the
production line.
Details for painting and the location of the side reflector
are given in the assembly instructions accompanying each set
of cases.
