Re: Flywheel mounting /6 models
Gentlemen:
In order to improve the bolted connection between the crankshaft
and flywheel, the thread has been enlarged from M 10 x 1.0 to
M 11 x 1.5 providing ample safety against loosening also for our
900 cc engines.
This change was made effective for series production as of
chassis nos.

It is recommended when carrying out repair or service jobs to check
whether the flywheel makes even contact with the crankshaft journal,
and whether the bolts, threads, and plane surfaces of the crankshaft
and flywheel are free from dirt and grease which is absolutely necessary.
(CAUTION – in case the shaft sealing ring is greasy.)
Fluid nut locks like Loctite should by no means be used.
Please limit your part orders at present to really urgent cases
as the quantitยทies of several parts on stock are still low.
