Engine Identification Numbers – Boxer Models
Some states require that the motorcycle engine number be recorded with
the State Department of Motor Vehicles.
Location of Stamping:
Each Boxer

All identification numbers on the motorcycle, i.e., VIN, engine number,
transmission number, and key numbers for each motorcycle produced, are
recorded in our data processing equipment in our factory. Therefore, it
is possible to assist law enforcement agencies or the National
Automobile Theft Bureau for theft inquiries only. The VIN must be
known to coordinate all other numbers requested.
