RE: CORROSION PROTECTION OF ALL ELECTRICAL CONTACTS
Dear Dealer:
In some instances, due to weather or other environmental
influences, sometime also caused by excessive water spray
when cleaning the motorcycle, corrosion may be formed at
electrical connectors or contacts.
To prevent this, at the time of assembly, we preserve all
of this area by using a spray material.- However, this
protection only lasts for so~e time; we therefore recommend
that on a yearly basis you spray these contacts, such as
on the distributor, generator, ignition coils, starter motor,
spark plugs, relays, etc.
