We are targeting April for official customer notification by mailing a letter describing the defect to each customer whose motorcycle is in the affected range. A detailed Service Information is being drafted now to explain the necessary parts and modifications n,eeded for each dealer to perform this Recall. • Prior to the Rec a li announcement, you will be sent a list of affected new motorcycles in your inventory. It is your responsibility to perform this Recall to all affected motorcycles t-n inventory prior to the retail sale. To aid you in performing this Recall a chart, which you can use in researching your records for customer information, will also be sent. This will enable you to schedule appointments for the repair, plus any additional work that may be appropriate. This Recall affects more than the Brake Light Switch. There are other modifications which also must be performed. Every motorcycle will not need a new Brake Light Switch, so take no action until notified by a Service Information bulletin.
