Dear Sirs,
The rear Tyre 4,00 S 18 Conti K 111 has been replaced by the
Tyre
4.00 S 18 Conti K 111 KS.
The new Conti rear tyre has improved directional stability and
adherence friction as of Series No. 312 (31st week, 1972).
In addition to the proven C6 by Metzeler, we have also released
a new rear tyre, designation
4.00 S 18 Y 148 Bloc C 6
which gives increased stability as a result of the reinforced
side wall. The service life of this tyre is 30% longer than
that of a normal Metzeler Tyre. The weight of the Y 148 is
approximately 14 lbs, 1 lb 4 oz. more than a normal C6 tyre.
Further tyres are under test; upon release you will be informed
immediately.
