Claim:
Very truly yours,
No electrical current (12 volts) at the accessory
socket ( BMWB attery Charger does not charge through
the socket).
The fuse holder on some models was assembled
incorrectly. The small spring which tensions the lug
into the fuse was installed 0n the wrong side of the
wire lug. This restricts the flow of current throu9h
the fuse holder assembly by making a poor contact to
the fuse.
\
Install spring here
Remove the fuse spring from the plastic holder. Pull
on the wire end lug slightly, exposing 1 inch of the
wire. Wind the small spring onto the wire between the
wire end and plastic holder. ~!ind the spring in a
manner similar to winding a key onto a key rirrg, or
use a soldering iron to unsolder the lug. Position
the spring over the wire and solder the lug on again.
tabor is reimbursable under the BMWLi mited Motorcycle
Warranty of Three {3) Years/Unlimited ~iles.
