Additional Ground Between Engine and Frame – RlOORM odels

Grounding between the engine and frame is not always
reliable on silver-painted frames. This may lead to
ignition misfiring or insufficient alternator output.
Starting with VIN 0280227, a wire has been added from
the starter motor cover to the ignition control unit
mounting bracket.
Install a ground wire to all affected RIOORm odels with
a VIN prior to 0280227.
The ground wire is secured to the left starter motor cover
screw and the ignition control unit mounting bracket.
