The fairing pocket might rub against the fuel tank en
11RT11 models.
Loosen the bolts that hold the bottom of the upp~r
fairing section (bolts are accessible from inside the
fairing pocket). Push the fairing outward and
retighten so that the bolts are at the outer end of
the slots.
A rubber support – part no. 52 53 1 230 319 – ( as
installed under the dual seat) can be installed in the
top corner of the inside pocket at the _point of
contact. Remove the fuel tank and drill a 7mm hole at
the contact point and install the rubber support.
This modification will be adopted on a11 production
motorcycles.
The slot in the fairing bracket will be replaced by a
hole.
