A low front fender for the 1988 and 1989 RlOOGS models must
not be u.aed in conjunction rith the engine spoiler of the
Paris-Dakar models. When traversing rough terrain or large
bumps (especially while applying the front brake under these
circumstances), the rear edge of the fender could catch on
the engine spoiler.
All U.S. version RlOOGS Paris-Dakar motorcycles were ordered
with the high fender (with stabilizer and extension tip).
Only the high fender can be used with the Paris-Dakar engine
spoiler. Please advise cwatomers that changing to a low
fender is not allowed.
When selling Paris-Dakar components through the parts
system, also advise purchasers that the engine spoiler is
not compatible with the low front fender equipped on 1988
and 1989 models and should not be sold tor this purpose.
