With immediate effect, our motorcycles will be equipped with butyl rubber tubes. These tubes lose less air by diffusion. Since butyl tubes are slightly more prone to abrasion, a rubber rim tape is inserted as well as the normal adhesive rim tape. The tubes are marked “B” or “Butyl”. If tubes not so marked are installed subsequently, the rubber rim tape can still be used in addition to the adhesive rim tape. In this connection we would remind you again that when a worn tire is renewed, the tube should also be discarded and a new tube installed. We recommend always using a tube from the same manufacturer as the tire. 2. The new “Touring-Special” tires manufactured by the Metzeler Company are marked with an arrow indicating the correct direction of rotation. Make sure that these tires are always installed with the arrow pointing in the correct running direction. sยท cerely yours~ BAYE CHE MOTORENW ERKE tiengesellschaft i. V. Scholz
