It is possible that the rear tire manufactured by Metzler
and delivered to you as standard equipment, prematurely
will develop cracks in the profile section of the tire.
Metzler, in conjunction with BMW, has modified and tested
the new, improved versions. The encl_o·~ed picture will
identify the new design by the change.,.tQ;.,.t,h.e profile in
the middle of the tire. Front tires, _,3;00-21 48R, have not
