RE: PULSATING REAR DRUM BRAKES
Dear Dealer:
It has come to our attention i’n isolated cases of owners
complaining· of pulsating rear drum brakes.

Even after all tolerances of the rear wheel brake drum are
met, pulsating of the foot brake pedal can be felt.
Generally, this is caused by a slightly uneven contact
of the brake shoe and the brake lever cam.
Filing down the contact surface of the lower brake shoe
where it touches _the brake lever cam will improve the
pulsating feeling felt by the rider.
