RE: Fairing Installation
Whenever any type of fairing, including the new Avon
AV-70/1, is installed on an R 50/5, R 60/5, ·and R 75/5,
it is necessary to install two spacers part No. 31 42
2 000 399 under each front fork spring. These spacers
will compensate for the additional weight placed over
the front fork. Through the addition of these spacers,
the trail (castor) is maintained at the required 85mm
with the fairing installed~ • •
