The new supports should be fitted with the flat surfaces lying on the rocker arm support sleeves. When fitted the slotted sides of the supports should be located opposite each other. The rippled washer previously used is replaced by the new thrust ring. This should be inserted so that no rocker arm end play is evident although .the rocker arm still moves easily around the shaft.
