Many automotive supply companies offer protective materials, including motorcycle nsage. May we ask you to make your own choice, since we cannot recommend or test the many available products worldwide. The best protection, however, is still the cold water washing immediately after a trip through contaminated areas. In addition, may we recommend the following: (1) Engine Transmissions, Rear Drive and All Other Aluminum Castings/Parts: In the summer, except in shore areas, no protective coating is necessary. Before the winter season, or use in shore areas, use a transparent chrome protective spray. Follow instructions for removal of same, after the winter season. If corrosion is visible before protection, use steel wool with a mild soap solution to remove stains. Continued, hard rubbing in the same spot could result in discoloration and shine. Rub in large circular motions, with slight pressure. (2) Chrome or Polished Aluminum Parts: ( 3) After cleaning, polish with chrome polish and/or protection material. Body Parts: 3.1 Fiberglass: Use normal auto polish/protective materials. ·,lease route and initial before filing ,…, 1 II A / Bulletin No.: 00 025 82 (2048) Page 2. 3.2 seats: Clean with soap and water before protection with seat or vinyl upholstery material.
