Airhead 247 Podcast: Upe Flueckiger

This week we’ll be introducing you to Upe Flueckiger. Upe is a dear friend, riding partner and we share very similar tastes in our bikes, as youโ€™ll hear in our chat. Upe is the Dean of Architecture at Texas Tech and as you might imagine, has a keen eye for design especially as it applies to the 247. With his background and fluency in German, I asked Upe to conduct an interview with Hans Muth, which will be airing in our next episode. However, this week weโ€™ll be visiting w/ Upe and discussing his passion for airheads and discussing some of the bikes he keeps in his moto-shed.

George Thomas from Air Support BMW is here for a discussion on parts ordering.

About

In this series, weโ€™ll be talking with independent mechanics, product developers and aficionados of the classic airhead BMW motorcycles, produced from 1970 to 1995, also known as the โ€œType 247 boxer.โ€ If youโ€™re an airhead rider, youโ€™ll recognize nearly all of our guests in this series. If youโ€™re generally a motorcycle enthusiast, this a great opportunity to add some knowledge to your database and enjoy some great motorcycle talk.
